my hosting account approved

As expected, yesterday I received a PM with the details of my hosting account.
Thhank you Bondings ... I'm all set now to start playing, testing and learning a lot.
The weekend is again filled up with social activities, so the practical work will be something for the evening hours of the coming weeks ...
My aim is to set up 2 sites with least possible work.
As already stated I will use Joomla, still doubting about the version do I chose fore 1.7 which i already know, or do I venture in 2.5... first I need to check in the plugins that I want to use ...as well as check on the artisteer version that is compatible with the different Joomla versions.
Which reminds me ... need a license: I still need to buy it (rather then playing with the demo version).
If you know a good alternative to Artisteer (same ease of use and possibilities !) feel free to post !

You can try out Joomla version 2.5 so you'll learn something new..

Artisteer is a good product but you can't beat understanding how Joomla works. Why not start with an existing template that is close to what you want - there are tons for free download - and then simply change it bit by bit as you learn how the templates actually work?

Well,

I have been inactive again for some time because I wanted to focus on the roll out of my website.
I used quite a lot of extensions to constructe one of the 2 website that I wanted to build. It's now ready and up on running . Not on Frihost.com because I preferred a payed hosting server.
There is nothing wrong with Frihost but I wanted to use a certian domain that I already owned and hosted.
The extensions that I used were:
    BT-Login
    CAIMailing
    Acepolls
    Akeeba
    BreezingForms
    JoomGallery
    ARIimageslider
    PhocaGuestBook

I might be forgetting one or two ...
