Neighbours Christmas Tree

I'm not into the decorations thing at all myself, but earlier on I got involved in moving furniture and stuff to help make my neighbours Christmas tree happen, here's a couple of images that kind of sum the night up...

Quite a big Christmas tree, they have there. We bought an artificial one this year and it seems pretty nice actually. It does lose needles, just like a real one unfortunately. I just hope it doesn't lose them all this year, it's supposed to last quite some time. Wink

It's 10 feet tall. They always have a big tree and 'the arrival of the tree' is always a big event to them with everyone helping to decorate it over a few drinks. Really nice to be honest, a kind of shared decorating experience which makes everyone feel part of their personal family celebration.

...couldn't help but laugh about the artificial tree shedding needles, sorry! Maybe give it some water and it'll stop?! Laughing

I enjoy putting up a tree and decorating it when the event is shared. I always get joy from watching a child look over the tree. Peace!

Same here, I actually still remember my own childhood wonder at the sparkly lights when the tree was finished. If I'm honest, it still evokes a sense of 'magic' inside, but then I'm not really convinced that I've truly grown up yet! Laughing
