Americans got some insane tv habits.
I knew they had more advertisements than I'm used to here in the UK, for instance there will be a commercial break after the introductory credits on many prime time shows. There is no psycho-analytic acuity training that could shelter me from the infectiously dumb, pure chuff, intense early learning of ABC's (post-)good morning show, entitled "Live! With Kelly and Michael".
Between 9 to 10am, American Broadcasting Company, the highly reputable US television network as I'm lead to believe, purports to show this news/entertainment/"lifestyle" program. This highly compelling hour long show consists of, and is made purely for the purpose of selling things. Every word spoken, no matter how spur of the moment it seems, is an advert. The news stories. Adverts. The topical discussion. Adverts. The host has a cough. Advert. The guest is who? Adverts. My anus is leaking through my tear ducts. Its "Live! With Kelly and Michael". There must be a pay per view version of this channel with less adverts cos sometimes they just cut to a clip of their 'guest' arriving and then continue the adverts.
