Don't get me wrong, lives that are lost by weather are always tragic losses, but hurricanes and weather stuff happens. I don't appreciate it being used as the easy money headline story, like a global tragedy, like I must be mad to think theres no further news to report. Comparatively, There were barely any reports at all about 'Storm Ofel' on prime time news:

ok, it is further away, is that how the uk news networks decide though? If the news networks didn't have lots of fluently American/English speaking persons to interview, and feverish reportage from every angle, they'd likely give it bug^er all coverage.
BBC News is becoming CNN's dimwitted little sister. Russia Today has more substance, yeh, RT. Proper sensationalist programming.
