Been doing a lot lately! I like stayin busy. Got some new speakers for my '83 chevy. The trick is putting them in... They don't quite fit, so I'm having to modify my chassy a little to get them in. I'm excited to have a nice working stereo! Not the most expensive thing. It's a digital radio designed to look like an old fashion one. It has hook ups for MP3 Player and USB drives (does not support ipod play except for the 3.5mm jack). It only does 50 Watts through each speaker, but in a single cab truck that should be ok. The only worry is my truck is an old diesel, and it's really loud in there. Going to try and improve the insulation to numb the sound a little. The speakers will more than accept that wattage too. In the front, theres room for a 3.5 inch in the left and right, and a 4x10 in the center. Only, buying a single 4x10 is about the same price as buying a pair of 4x10. So, i got 2 pairs of 3.5s, and I'll put dual 3.5s in the center. cheaper than one 4x10, and it'll do the same job. Although bass is better in the 4x10s. Later I'll get a subwoofer or two to go behind the seat. I dont need a lot, something smaller to at least even out the sound, and give a satisfying kick. I'll keep you updated! Now time to head to FRY's electronics to get some computer parts! YAY stayin busy!

Sounds great to have. Wish I had a stereo in my car as well. Sort of makes a great difference to a journey!
