Depression is hard. I go through it everyday. I have to fight tooth and nail to stay positive. It is especially hard if you were abused a a child or even an adult. That kind of behavior is hard to unlearn. It never goes away. One just has to learn to deal with it.
Proper treatment from a professional is a must. Create a positive support system around yourself. Do one little thing every day to better yor life. Maybe even start a gratitude journal. Instead of focusing on the negative about our lives, focus on the positive. Be greatful for what you do have. Write it down!! After a while, a picutre will form that maybe your life is not that bad, or you can work your way out, and it's okay to be positive and happy.
