<BOB> So Jill, how are you doing today?
<JILL> Not bad, but the day has just begun. One never knows what kind
of horrors will unfold for them until they are sprung upon them. I am
just hoping today's horrors do not include spiders like they did
<BOB> Well, we shall see. We shall see. Can you imagine what life was
like before the big bang. Before we destroyed this planet, like we did
earth? It must have been something else, right?
<JILL> Something else alright. I would have liked living back in those
times, before we had to fight abominations we created to survive an
hour, let alone a day.
<BOB> Yeah, it must have been nice.
<RICK> Why do you to always complain about our situation. It is not
that bad. I for one am sure they never served freshly roasted spider
legs in peanut sauce in those times. That stuff is delicious.
<BOB> Yeah it is alright, I prefer it burnt to a crisp, with a couple
drops of the juice of an orange-fly. Mmmmm, delicious.
<JILL> I do not know how you two can eat that stuff. Spider legs are
just disgusting, nasty stuff. Ewww!!

<BOB> Oh, get over it. You just do not like thinking about what it is. We know it was not all that long ago that you escaped from Exten. We also know that Exten made life seem simple and easy and almost like the destruction of the planet happened. It however, did and people need to deal with it not hide from it. If everyone hides in places like Exten then nothing will ever change out here. Nothing will get better and it is our duty to make it better to try to heal this planet before it is completely destroyed. We, as a race, cannot continue to destroy one planet and just move on to another like parasites. We need to make amends for what we have done and try to set as much right as we can. Perhaps even one day, if we work towards repairing and healing the planet, it will even be trully hospitable again. That would be nice. If we try hard enough we might be able to find a way to live and make progress without destroying the planet further. It...
<RICK AND JILL> Drop it Bob. We do not want to hear it all again. Just shut it.

<BOB> Okay, okay. I will drop it. You just know how I feel about us humans needing to do something about the destruction of planet after planet.
<JILL> Yes we know, Bob. We do too. It is up to us to save the planet. We sure as heck know the humanoid abominations that we created are not going to save the planet. They are just demolishing things, but hey that is what they were made to do. That is all they know. ll they do is collect stuff and destroy things. It reminds me of where we came from. Of course, I like to think that our ancestors were not nearly as ugly, and repulsive, but I am not sure about that any more than the next person.

<BOB> Just drop it already. I said I would, but for me to do so you need to do it as well. There is no reason for me to drop it unless you are going to do the same. It would be pointless for me to listen to it, if I had dropped it if you are going to berate me about it. That is useless and only makes me feel crabby and irritated. So just shut your mouth.

<JILL> Don't interrupt me you know how much I hate that. Why did you do that? I don't care what I was talking about NEVER EVER cut me off. Do you understand?
<BOB> Jeesh, yes, yes, I understand Jill.
<RICK> Ok, you two just behave yourselves for a minute. I am trying to think here. So be quiet and let me think. I need to figure out where we are staying tonight. It is getting late and we need to make sure we can get there before it gets dark. If we are caught out in the dark by ourselves we are screwed. No one makes it alone at night in these parts.
<BOB> Tell me where we are headed again. Since we are coming from that direction then, if I recall my geography correctly there is a small hamlet just behind that stand of trees. We should be able to find somewhere to sleep there.
<RICK> Sure, if it is there and we had money. Perhaps we can exchange a little work for shelter from the night.
<JILL> I have yet to see or hear anything during the night, are you sure we can not just keep going? We would get there faster.
<RICK> Yes, I am sure. There is a creature in these parts that kill us humans before we get the chance to make a sound. It is said to be vicious and does not leave much for others to find, only the occasional bone.
