The software can be downloaded from Notelens.COM. It was formerly shareware but is now freeware. It functions like Numberninesoftware's ScratchNotes but is more "efficient" in that one can arrange notes under categories. What is really nice about it is that one can have it hidden in the background and recall it through the tray icon.
