How often is it that one gets an opportunity to do less of something to get more of what one wants?
All I have to do is eat less, and in return I get...
- more money (by spending less on food)
- more time (by wasting less on eating)
- a better physique (by having less excess weight)
So why is it so damned hard to actually eat less? Why is it that when there's food around my first impulse is to gobble it up, especially if that food looks like chocolate, smells like chocolate and *munch* tastes like chocolate? I really, really don't get myself.
Any shrinks want to take a crack at this issue that should not be and help out the dieter?
