No Entree-sharing Fee for Married Couples

A married couple should not be charged a sharing fee for splitting an entree at a restaurant, because the couple is really just one person with two heads.

To me that really depends on whether they request a second plate to split the entrée on. I mean you are dirtying utensils and plate. My girlfriend and I sometimes share a single entrée and have only once had a one dollar "plate fee". If we both order an entrée, we share anyway. A single entrée is just portion control for us.

That definitely makes sense, and I think $1.00 is reasonable. The restaurant I went to in Northampton, MA wanted $10.00 to split an entree.

$10 just to split an entree?

What was the restaurant called? It must have been an expensive/fancy place.

Or a new place trying to make extra cash off of you, Lol.
