BAck to school at 43

I am 43 years old and i want to back to school to get a diploma, not just becuause the paper, is about deep things:

1.- There is a 12 years that i have this job in the goverment of my town, i was changed of departament three times and i think a better preparation will secure my job.

2.- My current government job involves quality processes, so i decide to study about that.

3.- when i was young i was at same career but droped to change to accounting taht finaly droped too because i dislike it.

4.- i have 6 year teaching at a private school part time, i was taking a lot of courses that the school give us, but a better preparation implies better chances in the future.

5.- i have 2 friend at my office that already back to school, and several times the ask me to help them with homework or to explain some topics, and some times is not about i already teach, so i need to study to can explain them, so in the las time i have the revelation that actualy enjoy studying.

6.- the college is part time, mast of the task are for the the studen himself, and have the rigth to go wit teachers to recibe tutoring, so my schedule adjust to that.

Good for you, an education is always worth pursuing. It does not matter how it does done, but I feel that learning and continuing to do so is crucial to an individual. Good luck with your course of study. I hope it goes well for you.
