Update on previous post
In my last blog post (several blogs packed into one), I mentioned a proble I was having at work.

This has been solved. It seems that it was in fact deliberate. Several years ago, a small script was placed on to those computers to automatically default to a specified printer. This was because users kept asking how to set the default and some other problem with profiles, meant this was easiest. Since having been moved however, different printers were added. That is why it was defaulting to a printer it didn't even see.
There have been a small number f different things like this, where a general knowledge of IT isn't enough. You need to know the history of the whole place. Not knowing the history, is starting to annoy me at times
