Sandy soil can't hold water well and plants are not easy to get nutrients from this type of soil.

Best type of soil is loam, it has a balance of sand, silt and clay.

Growing tomato from stem

I am thinking to try growing tomato from tomato stem.

To grow tomato from stem, I will let suckers grow on tomato plants.

Before to have flowering suckers, cut the suckers and put them in water for days.

After they grow roots, I will plant them with soil.
