mickey mouse

My room is so messy - lots of shoes lying on the floor, a basket full of clothes, a computer table full of random stuff, stuffed toys lying around (yes, stuffed toys!) and there's a pile of school papers that I don't know whether to throw away or not. Even my study table is a mess - an LCD monitor with nothing to plug it in to, heaps of CDs, some takasima toy which I got from santa years ago, orange peels, biscuit wrappers, multitester, cables, etc. It's been like this for over a year now. I usually hate dirty surroundings, but I've been used to this now.

Because I used to live in the school dorm a year ago, I have lots of extra clothes, which won't fit in my closet right. So that's why it's placed in a basket instead. I find it really hard to get rid of stuff, especially those that were given to me by people and those I had when I was young, hence the stuffed toys. Razz

Anyway, last night I spotted the mouse that was roaming our house earlier this week - in my room! i got my belt and yanked (eh, i can't think of any other word) it up and down the floor to make some noise. It panicked and ran under my bed. I barricaded it with some shoes and shoe boxes and shined the flash light under the bed and it ran and climbed up a wire to my study table.

I made another barricade using three fly papers (a kind of sticky trap) placed strategically under the table. Once again I made noises and it came jumping off the table, unto one of the sticky traps. But the mouse just bounced off of it and ran and jumped passed my first barricade, out of my room and into my sister's room.

I felt annoyed at the fly paper because it wasn't sticky enough(why is it called fly paper anyway?o_O). But at the same time surprised at how that tiny mouse was able to jump up a shoe box's height.

CLEAN UP THAT MESS! Maybe then the mouse and whatever other critters that are lurking around might go away. Why not give to a charity some of the clothes and toys. I don't know if you live in the US or not but right now there is a huge need for those items in the south eastern states due to the recent storms.
