The Arduino Mega can be powered via the USB connection or with an external source . The power input is automatically selected.
Aliemtação external ( non-USB ) may be either a source such as batteries. The source can be connected by plugging a connector of 2.1 mm , center positive , the power input . Cables coming from a battery can be inserted in the ground pins ( Gnd ) and input voltage ( Vin ) power connector.
The card can operate with external power supply 6-20- volts. However, if less than 7 volts are supplied 5V pin may provide less than 5 volts and the board may become unstable. With more than 12V , the voltage regulator may overheat and damage the board . The recomedável range is 7 to 12 volts.
Alimetação pins are the following:
- VIN - The input voltage of the Arduino board when using external power ( as opposed to 5 volts supplied by USB or another regulated power supply ) can be supplied through this pin alimetação or access it from there if etiver feeding the power connector.
5V - Regulated power supply for mcrocontrolador and other board components.
3V3 - A power of 3.3 vots generated by FTDI . The maximum current is 50 mA.
GND - Ground pins.
