Currently there is a great familiarity with digital computers and the ease with which they have to idealize, write and debug programs. In the faster integrated circuits, each transistor can switch in less than 10 picoseconds, so that a complex device with built complete these transistors may examine their inputs and produce an output in less than two nanoseconds.
