The probes are used to connect the oscilloscope to measure points.
One end of the probe is connected to one input of the oscilloscope via a connector and the free end is for connection to measuring points. The free end has an alligator clip called land of the probe, which should be connected to ground one end of the circuit and signal input, which must be connected at the point to be measured.
There are two types of probe: the 1:1 probe and the 10:1 probe.
