XP: Defragmentation

Keeping the disk defragmented will cause system to run faster. But it is a pain to remember and run defrag UI every now and then. Here is the solution.

XP ships with a command line utility defrag.exe. You can specify the drive you want to run it on as a command line parameter. Ex: defrag c:

You can schedule it to run every night automatically. Or you can create a short cut on your desktop/quick launch. Then you can click the shortcut before you go for a coffee break.
