Internet Need or not in the Client System

Dear Sir

My Scenario

I have written a vb6 program for sending sms purpose with internetexplorer application by using the createobject. The internet connection also available. It is working and sms sending. I called this system as Server. Compiled the program and make EXE in Server.

I am create the shortcut from another 1 system for the EXE which is available in Server. Now I called this system as Client.
There is no internet connection in this system(Client). Now the SMS is not sending.
So, without giving internet connection to the client is there any way to send SMS? Kindly clarify.

With Regards

LOOOOL,

ok, so you create the InternetExplorer.Application COM ( from now on refered to as oIE) object and use it to send a text message.
but when your 'client' doesn't have a network ( internet ) connection it will fail...

Where does this oIE navigate to?
- do you navigate to a website in the internet?
- do you navigate to "about:blank" and write HTML code to it?

if your 'Server' does all the work by sending the text message then your 'client' should have enough with a network connection to your 'server'.

btw, you could have posted this under software or even under programming/other, given that you provide more details to assist you in troubleshooting this issue.( this way you could actually make some points too...)
