We have a Devon Rex kitten called Sachi (see photos at briterwebdesign.com/blog/archives/the-new-kitten) who is about 1 year old. Quite often when we let her inside she goes wild and runs around really wildly, sometimes scratching furniture as she goes. It takes a while for her to calm down by herself, and if I play around with her she gets even madder
. Is there anything wrong with this, and why does she do it?
I'd love someone who knows more about cats to answer the question

I have two Turkish Angora cats. One of them does that almost everyday. When I try to catch her, she runs quickly and hides under the furniture or jumps to the roof.

Yes. One of them is just like this one. Her mother's fur is colourful.
