Xiaomi Redmi Note 4

I just recently bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. It has 32 Gb of internal storage, 3 Gb of Ram, equipped with
Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, Android 7.0 and MUI 8. I am quite a fan of Lenovo phones because they are always releasing budget phones. However I did experience some failure just right after its warranty ends. My home and back buttons started to fail. and you can see some distortion on the display. Due to that reason I tried switching to another brand which Xiaomi and hope this might be a good idea. Specs may not that be high end but good enough for me for everyday use.

Congratulations @jestoy. I'm very interested in the Xiaomi Redmi. I've heard lots of good reports about it. Hopefully you'll keep us up to date with your experiences.

Hi @deanhills thanks. I haven't use it yet properly because my wife wants her hand on it. So i installed a little bit of application and keep it in a safe place. I have tried it a little bit with youtube and some basic functionality. It plays 1080p video with no problems. Internet is quite working as well. As for the sound it is decent enough as compared to other unknown phone in this price range. It has no included earphone by default and I read an article about it and they said that most of the unit of Xiaomi don't include earphone in the package and you have to buy separately so I don't have any choice but to buy a cheap earphones to package with phone. The viewing angles on the screen is decent and very responsive touch. And the fingerprint sensor at the back is quite nice. Camera is very clear despite of small size of 5MP in front it doesn't have that rainy effect you will found on any other phones in the price range. At the back it is equip with 13MP camera is nice as well but I haven't tried to shoot with a low light ambiance so I am not so sure if it is okay. It does look like an iphone 6 to me. because of the speaker at the bottom of the phone. Simcard slot is quite limited to 2S SIM or 1 Sim and 1 SD Card only. Anyway I will try to find out whether this phone will live to my expectation in the near future.
