What to do with "that" person?

So I am kinda agitated lately on frihost, because of this "user". Obviously not gonna call them out. Just everything about what they post on here bugs me, and its not just what they post, but HOW they post. I do not know if this person is just trying to milk all the points that can or what, but I'm sorry you can fit more that 3-5 words per line before you need to hit that return key. Also if you are gonna hit the return key 1 or 2 lines is normally alright not 10! Which again brings me back to either milking for points, or just being a page stretcher.

Now I don't know much about this user, but they must be an expert it absolutely everything! Every thread I have seen them post in is just them saying to all the other posters; "Nope your wrong, then followed by pointless poorly typed (like stated above) response." No matter what the thread is dealing with they are the only one who is right no matter how may try to say otherwise. I am sorry but I absolutely cannot stand people like this. Plus the way this person just twists all the words the other person says just bugs me.

I don't know what else to say, but man, this guy/girl really gets to me. I really just needed to say that. I really want to say something to them, but I don't wanna risk throwing a thread off topic by starting an argument. Because I have been a member longer than this person, but then they also have more posts than I have ( I know this probably doesn't mean anything, but I kinda view longer members as having more seniority over some one who has more posts) I don't know.

So yeah that's how I feel, and not quite sure how I should handle it.

P.S. I am not talking about any mods I quite like them all. Very Happy

I think I know who you mean. If you don't want to say it to him in a thread you could send him a PM.

There are three basic options:
1) ignore them
2) private message them with your concerns
3) accept and move on

With 1, it's all on you to just let things go. No matter how much you want to respond, don't. It can be hard as hell at first, but it gets easier.
With 2, though you may make your feelings known, you have to understand that the user is under no obligation to change their behaviour to fit your desires. It may result in a situation in which you and that person come to an understanding, or it may only serve to make things worse. It's hard to tell which is likely Razz
Three is much like 1 in its difficulty in implementation... but is, ultimately, the goal of both 1 and 2 Razz

If I were you, I'd either write to one of the Moderators about it, or click on "Report this User" on the left side of the post window of the person whose posts are bugging you. Get it off your chest to the people who can make a difference. Then let it go.
