Frihost at war...

Well if you look at some of the recent posts in blogs and such you see very heated arguments. To me it seems that a couple members are being ganged up on. The only other thing I see is frihosters at each other's throats. Now I have done my best to stay quit through out the whole thing, but I can no longer do that. This community no longer feels friendly. It seems that with every post there are people who throw it off topic and cause it to get locked, or they get into such heated arguments that it chases away new members!

I have my own reasons for staying on frihost and I am not going to share any of them. I have questioned whether it would be better for me to leave or not, and every time I have decided against it, in the hope that things would improve. Though sadly they have not.

I also feel that except for a few select mods that many of the others are making very poor decisions in how to handle things on frihost, and are not sticking to their word, and instead doing the complete opposite. This is sad because I have been sitting back and watching the friendly discussion filled frihost crumble to dust.

I am not allowing comments on here because I am done and do not care what anyone here has to say anymore because in the end it will end in a hate filled argument. If you have something you absolutely need to say to me pm me.

That is why I stay out of the P&R forum. Those members really need to keep war there and not spill over into the rest of the community. We want PEACE!

Some users on frihost are too delicate,P&R isn't for the faint hearted and i wouldn't want it any other way. Smile

Yeah P&R can be pretty heavy, personally: the reason I sometimes stay out of it is because every post is practically an article - to respond myself I'd be constantly second guessing myself, spend about an hour on my post back after reading the whole thread and then probably still end up making an idiot out of myself. Yeah sometimes maybe it gets a bit heated - but a fine debate is often heated, I doubt many people would hold a grudge.

I don't know who you are hinting at but I'm sure it's not serious...

With all due respect: I've been involved in a fair few forums and/or communities over the years - I don't think you'd be saying that if you'd seen some of the things I've seen Laughing

Yep, Frih is one of the best behaved forums I've been on... It's Internet Lite Razz
Perhaps the best behaved forum I've used was centered around a roleplaying game and its rules... Very polite, but the topics weren't really as strong as some of the ones here.

You may have just solved all of our problems at once. Surprised

Indi: I attempt to expose the Christian poster's lies with the last charge of my +2 research paper.
Bondings: *rolls dice* The poster ignores you. Your party members are unswayed.
Bikerman: Hmph. Let's just go kill some more spam posts for exp.
Indi: 'kay.

Oh snap did I just write Frihost fanfiction.
