Hello, now I'm using more Debian-Lenny OS, in my work througth a VMWare tool and in home with a partition in my HD on VAIO PC. ok.
I was a Visual C++ programmer only for educational porpouse, then one day I think to use a free development tool on Linux-Debian. I find some software (Anjuta, Monodevelop) but there isn't one as QDEVELOP, very nice and practical with Qt4 tools, Qt designer. To install Qdevelop I follow a few steps, that I write here:
1. install Qt, is more practical using synaptic tool with qt4 (qt is Trolltech soft) this is the easy step
2. To install qdevelop we have to compile de source included in the page of qdevelop. http://qdevelop.org/public/release/qdevelop-0.27.4.tar.gz, then follow de README file. (In another PC I have to write qmake-qt4 and not qmake only)
Qdevelop runs a wizard tool for create aplications, and qtdesigner build de visual tools, as Dialog, Frames, Toolbars, etc.
