Nulled scripts sound so innocent! Almost legitimate. Yet aren't they pirated scripts though? Scripts of which the licenses have been removed and which are made available without the permission of the authors?
On top of it all, nulled scripts are being used by hackers with bad intent. People think they are doing great by getting premium WordPress themes and plugins for free. Next thing their Websites get suspended because of a backdoor infection through which someone managed to get control of their Website, enough to send mega number of spam posts all over the world. Nulled scripts are a very bad idea. Surely the owner of the script could sue someone for using his script without a license, particularly when it is a premium plugin or theme.
I can't get it that nulled scripts are being freely used to the extent people feel it is OK to do as everyone is doing it. If I think of all of the damage that has been caused, isn't this one of the greatest sources of hacking? Flogging plugins and themes that are infected with malware? Or am I on the wrong track here?

Piracy, whether it involves software or music or anything else, is STEALING!! Just like someone taking your money/credit card is.

I feel the same Stand. Can't believe people are doing it without the permission of the author.

Yeah, at one point of time I was actively downloading nulled scripts and looking for a place to host them. Didn't know about how illegal or serious it was. Today, I say don't use nulled scripts, just use free ones.

@playfungames. I'd go even further to say only to use free plugins and themes from wordpress.org, as they have been tested and have a good chance of being clean. One can also easily pick up from wordpress.org review and support systems for the themes and plugins whether they are recent and up to date.
