After mastering the Metro process on Day 2, decided to use it on Day 3 to discover Istanbul. Part of it too was to figure out whether I would be able to use the Metro to transfer from the Hotel to the Airport the next day, that would have been a huge saving. I discovered it was quite easy, with just one transfer to a different line needed from Sheikh Ahmed to the Airport.
My first interest was to get on the Bosphorus side of Istanbul.
Back in Sultan Ahmed lunched on a rooftop. Istanbul is quite famous for all of its rooftop restaurants, probably because of sights like this one:
And of course just around the corner there was another kittie having its lunch time nap disturbed by a crazy tourist taking pictures of everything.

It would be cool to be that close to the water!

Why not move to Vancouver. If you're close to Stanley Park you'll get to see the water every day.
