Thumbs down Xbox One .... hello Playstation4!

Why on earth would any gamer worth his salt want to go for Xbox One? What's wrong with them? OK Sony is not completely without its flaws, but let's face it, PlayStation is leaps ahead of the game.

1. Why does one have to have an internet connection to use Xbox One?
Not every one can afford high speed internet either, can be pure frustration if the connection has problems. And why should any one have to register EVERY game that it plays on the console? Too much control I say and too much hazzle and complication. And to top it all, is Xbox really 80 times better in justifying its 80USD subscription fee?

2. Why do games have to be installed?
Microsoft requires Xbox users to install their games, taking up huge gb of space, whereas Playstation doesn't. To make things worse, Xbox Hard Disk cannot be upgraded, whereas Playstation's can.

3. Hell has no fury Xbox!
"NO", I haven't forgotten yet. I'm still as mad as heck. Microsoft turned its back on millions of loyal Xbox owners when it came with its next gen offering. A real bummer for those like me who had purchased one a few weeks before. That was the end for Xbox One for me and I haven't forgotten yet.

Those are all basically reasons why I will get a PlayStation next. Not to mention the XBOX One looks like it's made of pointy edges and corners. I still remember when I cut my finder on a VCR player when I was trying to put it back on the TV stand. A VCR player!!! I want sleek and curved lines, or rounded edges at the very least!

Well, that is MicroCrap for you. Everything needs more memory and drive space.

And i thought sony was very good at standards and following them.
I see nothing wrong in pointy corners. *cough*PS2*cough*.
The internet connection requirement have been lifted. We could have had xbox live for free if it werent lfited

PS4 is way better, since XBOX = 720P and the PS4 = 1080P

Well, I am considering building (or upgrading) a computer for gaming (what I call "budget" gaming, though, I'm not talking about a $3000 machine). It will probably cost me close to what the consoles currently cost. Of course, I will running Windows, but it computer gaming still seems currently less restrictive than console gaming.

I can see there are some reasons to go with a PlayStation 4, however. I've never had anything against PlayStation; I just haven't owned one since the original PlayStation. But, while I do enjoy my old white Xbox, I am not a very big Microsoft fan, for some of the reasons you mentioned.
