Must say this has not happened to me in a long LONG time! It floored me though and kept my mind busy for most of the weekend. Someone whom I really like, acted less than fair in the extreme, when I had him pegged for being wise and fair. And if I look at it objectively, it's my fault really, as I had been mirroring my own sense of fairness and justice on this person. On the other hand, his very eloquent words over a good sized time period did give one reason to believe he would be non-negotiable on fairness and equal justice for every one.
So moral of this story is to be careful not to get carried away with how people project themselves with their words. Actions always speak louder than words.

I'm intrigued as well, don't just throw us a few teasing scraps.

Thank you for writing this. It turns out that appearance has nothing to do with many other characteristics of a person and one should not judge people from their looks.

Apologies for giving your curiosity a workout, never thought it would grab everyone's attention like this. No, it has nothing to do with Frihost (I'd have been more specific if it had), but I had to get it off my chest. I'm more disappointed with my own judgment if that can make any sense to you. I have this tendency to put people on pedestals, and that's unfair to the people I put there, and even more so to myself as it creates expectations that may not be realistic. That's basically the lesson I learned out of this. I need to develop a healthier sense of reality about people. Look at their actions, more than their words. Better yet develop a more efficient BS detector.

Ah, Frihost or real life scooby mystery solved ...you would've gotten away with it if it hadn't been for us meddling kids!

I think people have a way of changing. Once they are put in a position that might be stressful for example they can react and it is not always in the way they have in the past. Not saying this is in defense of anyones actions just saying that is way people act. We can be fickle creatures.
