I've never taken photos during holidays before. Just did not like the idea of being weighed down with photo equipment, and instead of photos used to buy as many postcards I could find. My last holiday during September 2012 was different however. Probably because of my luck in finding a very small camera that I could put in my shirt pocket and was more than easy to use. When I purchased the camera I did not want to spend too much cash, just in the event that I would end up not using it at all, however this time round the money spent on it was well worth it.
This is the camera I purchased - Canon PowerShot A2400 with 5X Optical Zoom and 16.0 Mega Pixels.
And a link to Steve's Review of the camera:
My first use of it was in Canada. I forced myself to take the camera during my first day, however it was so easy and fun, that it became spontaneous when a photo opportunity presented itself. And ever since then, right up to now, I would take the camera with me in case of more opportunities. I'm now crazy about this camera and it travels with me wherever I go, either in my shirt or coat pocket. Downloading pictures from the camera to my computer is very fast. The battery lasts for ages.

Dean, these digital camera are sweet compared to old school and just keep getting better and smaller. Your pictures are fantastic! I have a 10.2 megapixel Kodak that I got a couple years ago when they were closing the model for 12 mp. Got a bundle of camera, 8G card, tripod, lens cleaner and 2 cases so cheap that I could not pass up.
