Where is Bondings?

I would love to hear where Bondings is! Does anyone know? Helios a week or more ago mentioned in the Suggestion Forum that Bondings may be ill. I would rather have hoped that he got married or something and was on an extended honeymoon of sorts, but especially after Max, don't want to hear about any of our Mightly Leaders getting ill. So Bondings, if you are around, hope you can at least say you are OK, alive and beavering away somewhere in cyberspace.

Now I notice mOrpheuS has not posted around the same time as Bondings' last post in mid-February, so am also hoping that this is not a cyber virus felling our mightly leaders down one by one. Could it be that there is a mysterious disease going the rounds? Even Bikerman is posting less than usual. Shocked And Ghostrider?

On the other hand Ocalhoun is still posting strongly (within the limitations of a nose dive in number of posts since mid-Feb), thank heavens for Ocalhoun. Razz

It's a strange thing or coincidence that's a fact. Laughing

I hope Bondings will let us know something in the next few days.

I think that this is one of the biggest downsides (and also one of the biggest upsides) of the internet, that you could vanish just one day onto another. It's probably also that that causes people to be more open on the internet because whenever they are feeling 'sad' or emotional on one website or forum, they just leave everything like it is and they go on with their lives (or on other forums).

PS: Glad you found the Frihost Blog system, it was one of the places on Frihost where you weren't so active in the past but I guess you'll become active here as well from now one. Smile

Thanks Adri. I found the Blog Post system by accident. Is it my imagination as I never saw the link for creating a Blog on top of the page before.

I got on the blog wavelength this weekend, when there were so few posts, I discovered the link for "unanswered posts" and noticed quite a number of blog postings. I've never looked at blogs before, and that is rather a shame, as there are some really good postings out there! And then yesterday I noticed the link on top of my page that invited me like Bonding's Avatar ( felt that way Very Happy ) to create a blog. The blog then just happened automatically and spontaneously after I clicked on the link. Dead easy. Bondings has really created a neat system for blogging.

Dean, I too hope that Bondings is doing well. It has become very quiet around Frihost lately.

Sorry for the absence. I checked my posts and I actually only posted in the staff forum and in AWITs during the last few weeks. I've been on holiday, followed by getting the flu (nothing special, just a big fever) and feeling quite tired afterwards which resulted in very few posts lately. But it should get better from now on.

@Deanhills, thanks for the comments about the blog system and I'm glad you started using it. Unfortunately the blog system still lacks a few features that might be handy (like removing unused categories) and a lot of options aren't noticed by most people (like a dropdown menu to change the category of a blog post, which rather looks like a go-to category dropdown).

mOrpheus is still active, if I'm not mistaken he did some AWIT stuff today (banning spammers).

Yeah, there are some great blogs around on Frihost, although not that many.

Mexiwithacan has some really good oneliners where there's really a meaning behind it. It keeps you thinking. Wink

I'm also a frequent reader of Watersoul's blog, he makes some very nice posts and if you read all of them, you can sort of follow his life or at least a part of his life. I especially like his local stuff, like holidays or when he's talking about the weather and life in the South of England. Smile

Also the blog posts from Taylors On the Mission category are really a pleasant read. Smile

And of course we have Bondings' blog but it is a shame that most of the comments are spam on his blog. The posts are also mostly about Frihost itself. I would prefer to see more posts Tech, News or Personal categories. *wink wink*

Well actually that's about it, most other blogs aren't that active or have very little interesting posts.

I myself try to maintain a blog too but recently I haven't really had any time to keep posting videos and such. (I didn't even watch any Youtube videos lately) I also try to post some reviews from time to time about software or about series that I follow or have followed. Smile

@Bondings. *grin* I completely was mislead by mOrpheuS Signature of being "The official FRIHost Nice Guy™". I should have known he meant it tongue in the cheek! Twisted Evil

I'm all for AWITs for Spammers however. There were really bad ones in the last few days. I got the feeling that the accounts may have been created automatically as well?

@Adri. I'm really enjoying these blogs. It feels almost like the equivalent of creating your own home, and having visitors over for a cup of tea .... Very Happy

@Watersoul. OK tea coming up, although at this time of the night I prefer a Scotch with soda and plenty of ice. What is your preferred alcoholic beverage? Very Happy

Glad to see Bondings back! I hope your holiday was good (at least before the flu). Tea time! Long Island Iced Tea that is!
