Impressive video how automatic driving works and feels like. Isn't it amazing how much data we human beings ( and computer in the future ) are processing real-time while driving ? One advantage of automatic driving in the future will be that cars more or less 'behave' the same and show a more defensive way of driving. This should make driving overall much safer.

My friend has a car that has technology that keeps him in lanes, will brake for you, has radar control to keep a steady distance while driving with the car in front. Driving without needing to hit the breaks or gas through traffic is a weird scary feeling.

I would love if my car at least would have a stop-and-go mode to be used in traffic jams, may be limited to a speed below 30 km/h. That way I could relax and sit back when caught in a traffic jam on a highway and let the car handle that boring go and break type of driving.

amagard that would be nice. I know driving stick shift this is even worse. It happend to me a few times where i was stuck in a long traffic jam luckilly though it was flat which made it a lot easier to drive along.
