Space Politics




Two news about space technology published on heise.de today caught my attention:

1. Luxemburg became the first country in Europe to come up with laws to control who owns resources mined from asteorids. USA came up with a similar regulation in 2015. ( link )

2. NASA declared they won't have the budget to accomplish their ambitious goal to send men to Mars in the 2030th. ( link )

NASA needs to totally abort sending humans to Mars. The rovers are doing an excellent job of gathering information.

There is probably more behind sending people to other planets, more than just fun and entertainment.
Stephen Hawking warns humanity has just 200 years to escape Earth. According to him life on this planet is on high risk to get wiped out soon.
