writes Lifehacker today. That's certainly true. Thinking outside the box works better it you look outside the box. If you are lucky you do have a window to the outside and real world in your office and hopefully you see something like this:

Or this, when it is late in the night:

If you don't, why not standing up, leaving your desk, take a walk outside and let your brain relax and your thoughts wander ?
It is often surprising how standing up, looking away from a given problem, looking at something else, doing something else, doing nothing at all, suddenly gets you great ideas or find solutions about which you think later on: that's so obvious !
