Google Chrome on Fedora 23

Just successfully installed Google Chrome on my Fedora 23 system. Instructions to do so are here.
I basically did this to get the AddInto plugin to be able to save bookmarks in my Google Bookmarks account; unfortunately this plugin does not seem to be available for Fireofox under linux / Fedora.
Nevertheless I noticed that flash games like my current favorite Facebook game "Transport Empire" run with Google Chrome on Fedora, while I did not had any success with Firefox. Sweet.

Great to see Chrome can run on CentOS 7. Guess CentOS 6 is obsolete for real now. Did you load this on a VPS?

No, this runs on real hardware, a Lenovo Thinkpad W500.

I like Lenovo. I bought an old used Thinkpad Z210 two months ago to do what you are doing. Playing with Linux desktops. Been procrastinating too much. I was thinking of trying Zorin. I then fell in love with the old Windows 7 that came with the used laptop - the fastest Windows 7 yet. May experiment with my Lenovo G50-80 instead. It has Windows 8.1 on it that I find quite boring. Think it would be good to see how it works with Zorin. I believe that Zorin can be resource hungry, so the newer Lenovo may be better for it anyway. Will be interesting to see how easy it is to load a browser like Chrome on Zorin OS. I'm think about Zorin OS 9 Core.

I bought the W500 from IBM, it had been my former working thinkpad. It had Windows XP installed but with all the additional IBM software layer it was simply too bloated and slow. Again I thought a clean start would be the best.
I first tried to install Mint, a linux distro I like since it is very user friendly and easy to consume by people who are used to Windows. But I did not get it to run on this machine, so I tried Fedora next and so far I like it too.

Glad you tried Mint, as I was thinking of Mint too, so now don't have to try it. Think I'll try out Zorin first.
