Meanwhile the AMS (Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer) Detector on the International Space Station has detected some hundred thousands of positrons.
Where do they come from ? Left-overs from supernovas, pulsar winds, annihilation of yet unknown elementary particles ? Annihilation or disintegration of the dubious dark matter ?
