Okay..this is my first post and im thrilled to be able to share with you guys my experiences as I climb up the ladder to Internet dominance!
I started computing a few years ago and when I was seventeen I decided to start designing websites. Still in high school at a school, Prince Edward in Zimbabwe i finished a website for all students around Zimbabwe and abroad to keep in touch. I named the network Octopa and after the first week i had close to a hundred users! I was overjoyed and spent a huge amount of time working on it..coming up with ideas and trying to implement em on my own.
After a while..the growth slumped and my workload was just too much for me. I decided to find partners and my oh my...i couldn't. It was such a flipping hustle i ended up taking my best friends who had suddenly developed a healthy interest in my business after a newspaper article that got me some fame at school! I therefore decided to make myself the CEO to steer the project towards my vision and things started moving a tad better.
I do not mean to take a piss on my folks but the dudes were just pure jerks! I developed the plans, consulted them occasionally and got no meaningful input. Within months i was back again to point zero. We were failing miserably to attract new users or encourage those already registered to invite their friends. I therefore decided to approach every school in the area and tell them about our online community. The part that i lived in Zimbabwe was some thirty minutes away from the city and
