As a Mac user, I was waiting for this WWDC as it was going to announce Mac OS 10 Lion and I wasn't really sure if I was going to buy it or not. Before watching it, I wasn't sure about the Launchpad, versions and I didn't like the new Mail. It was also planned to cost 129$.
Yet after several minutes (Ok, at least 15 minutes, I'm not such a fanboy) I totally changed my mind. Now I want Lion. Steve and Phil did a great job presenting it and the demo really convincing. Although some things they claim to be new, aren't so new. Like with the multi-touch gesture of two fingers to the left or to left, respectively to go back one page in your browser or to forward one page. I can do that too with Snow Leopard. But anyway, most of the stuff was kinda cool. Like the Versions of a document, I wasn't too sure about it, because I thought it would take much space on my hard drive and it would be a mess. But yet again they surprised me, they only save the changes, in stead of the documents and you can duplicate a file or go back to a previous version (or even take elements of older versions and put them in your current version ).
So yeah, I'm kind of excited at the moment (it fades away in an hour or two though when I become rational again).
Oh yeah, what I forgot to say was that it only costs 29,99$. The Youtube video contains the entire keynote. You can also watch it on the Apple website, but you can't rewind or forward there, so that's kind of annoying (I don't have an iPhone so I didn't want to watch the iOS part)

That is when you realize they baffled you with brilliant bull! Like any OS, I will wait a while.
Hmmm yeah but I will probably buy it. ^_^ I'm also planning to quit using Microsoft Office and go to iWork. It is even cheaper than Office and it can also work with office documents (.doc, .xls, .ppt). I just can't stand the default mark-up of Office '08 (and '07 too). They use ugly fonts as a starter and the headers are horrible. And the worst is, everyone uses them.
I will do some research to see if there is a new version coming soon, as the current version is named "iWork 09", so there could be a new version released soon. (Although they would have said that in the Keynote though so I'm not sure...)
