How not to live your life (BBC Three)

I just finished watching season two and three last night and I must say, it is one of my favorite tv series. (I guess I say that quite often) I like the concept and of course the awesome humor that's in the series and on top of that it's British (I prefer the British accent above all other English accents).

Let me give you a short idea of what the show is about. Well, in the first season the grandmother of Don dies (Don doesn't have any parents or other siblings) so he gets the house. Eddie, the 'housekeeper' (looked after the grandmother, cleaned the house) stayed in the house and looks after Don now (for free Razz ). In the first season, he rents a room to a girl who he fancied when he was young (Abby) and in the second and third season, the room is occupied by Samantha. In the meanwhile Don struggles with his life.

I really like the humor and the concept of what could happen scenes. Because sometimes you think 'It would be really funny if he screamed 'I have a bomb'. '

Some examples:

In the second and third season, everytime they ask the old lady (also called Gollum (see the link with Lord of the Ring)) 'Are you OK?', 'Alright?', etc she responds 'My husband died' or 'My husband is dead'. Another common used joke, is double meanings like when DOn says 'She's fit' as 'She's hot' but Eddie thinks he means 'She looks healthy'. Laughing

I really enjoyed the second and third season of How not to Live your Life and I'm looking forward to the fourth season. Very Happy

I hope you like the Youtube clips too. (In Belgium there is a saying that goes like this: 'An image means more than a thousand words')

I do hope that series eventually gets exported to US. That looks hilarious! Many BBC shows are aired here on PBS (Public Broadcast Stations).
