Going to the gym again

Having money is fabulous. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. Sucks when you want to do something and you can't afford it. Here in my country we don't have (many) public gyms and the public places tend to be mostly filled with broken apparels/frequented by weird people who generally creep me out. So if you want to go to a decent place you'll need to pay for it, and you'll need to pay big. I'm addicted to cardio and to Les Mills programs and I love how you can already see a big difference after only one month. Don't know if you are familiar with Body Pump or Body Combat, but these two programs made a huge difference in my life tens years ago and going to the gym again to do Body Combat is like going home. So yes, I'm happy. Smile

I started two weeks ago and I'm so excited that I can see my triceps again hahaha! I cannot recommend it more. Dancing

P.S.: My weight didn't change much in these two weeks, but I didn't expect it to change. I have a tendency to gain lean body mass easily (let's just say that I'm on natural steroids), which is way heavier than fat body mass. Rolling Eyes

Sounds awesome Vanilla. Nothing to get one as high as on exercises like those. Think they're good for some extra serotonins as well. Cool

Fantastic Vanilla. I have weights, bike and treadmill at home. Do miss having someone to 'spot' for me during lifting though.

That body combat sounds awesome! What is it like? What do you do during those? Glad to see you're 'home'!

You are so right! One thing I really miss during weekends is going to the gym. I believe if they had classes 3 AM Sunday I would go to those classes!

I wish I had your discipline... If it wasn't for the gym, I would make all sorts of excuses to skip exercising.

Take a look! The thing is insane. If you give everything you have during the classes you'll leave the gym happy and destroyed hahaha!

I need more discipline. It is hard to get motivated without a buddy to push you along.

That's my main issue, stand! Before I broke my leg in 2010 I used to run everyday and I used to feel so good! Now I'll find all sorts of excuses to not exercising. At least when I pay for something I'll feel bad if I don't use it, that's why paying for the gym was crucial in my life haha!
