TOEIC and vacation

I always thought that my English wasn't very good because I'm used with slang and I do curse a lot. Then my teacher-advisor (am I saying this right?) asked me to take the TOEIC test. I didn't know the test and I wasn't worried about getting to know it, instead I just waited for it watching a lot of movies (because that's the best way I know to study for an English test!). After finishing the exam I was frustrated because it was more difficult than I thought. What made me feel really stupid was the "read" part. I couldn't believe that I was struggling to find the error among 4 sentences. That's why I was so surprised when I saw my results:

I got everything right in the "listen" part and I got 3 or 4 questions wrong in the "read" part. 965 out of 990 points. So yeah. I'm feeling awesome right now. Cool

AND I am finally having my well-deserved vacation. Yay for having a lot of work to do, essays to write and theses to read. I like my teacher very much, but I feel he might drive me crazy someday. So if I don't show up in the next days, it just means that I'm too busy to have a life outside the vet circle. Razz

Congratulations and good job. Enjoy your vacation and that is an impressive score on the exam. I am not sure some of the people I know that speak English as their first language could score as well. I would say you are more than prepared to have a decent business relationship with people who speak English. Again, impressive score. Hope you enjoy your vacation and you get to have some fun!

Thank you, pauline. Very Happy I just need to learn how to behave (and don't curse) in front of people haha!

Yeah, cursing usually puts people off. Good luck with that. It takes a bit of practice.
