First world problems

I have never used the Frihost blogs because guess what... I already have one. But it takes some level of commitment to post in my other blog. I got some comments to reply, comments to approve, some images I need to edit in order to put them into the post. I'm pretty perfectionist when I'm posting in my blog. I don't want to do that right now. I'm just tired and I have lots of things to do. And yet I'm here haha! Isn't that beautiful?

I feel mentally tired. I love what I do and I love the people around me. I already knew that this was the most difficult thing I was going to do in my life. I'm trying hard not to complain, because in the end I'm doing what I always wanted to do. It's just that sometimes I need to vent some of the things I'm feeling. I have 200 pages I need to read for a class discussion - in English. I do understand English and I post in English here, but when you spend all day talking in a language that is not your native language you'll be exhaust by the end of the day.

It's like I'm afraid of things that not happened to me yet! Because of my anxiety, I'm suffering in advance. I know I need to start running on a daily basis again, that's the cheapest way (and it's drug free) to treat my anxiety, but it's raining outside. I feel really egoistical by complaining of such things, but that's how it is. I'm just having a series of first world problems. Smile

I read your post expecting to find some real problems faced by the "first world". Being exhausted after speaking a foreign language does not seem a 1st world problem. Tough you made a present read after all.

@mabs239, the term 'first world problems' has recently become a kind of sarcastic meme on the internet that sort of mocks small (up to very very trivial) problems of people in the first world (privileged people), certainly compared to real/big problems that exist in the third world. You can find more information about it here: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/first-world-problems .

@mabs239 I must tell you that I don't live in the first world world. I live in Brazil. And also...

@Bondings Thanks for clarifying what I said. Very Happy

In Philippines, we don't have first world problems but we have conyo problems. From the word conio, in spanish means ****. Here it means rich spoiled girls. A conyo problem is usually a joke that mocks rich girls. A typical line would go:"Yaya!(maid). It's end of the world, can you tell dad to buy me a new Planet!" or "Yaya. I'm tired of clicking the remote. Tell dad to buy lots of TV's. One TV for one channel."
A conyo problem, like 1st world problems, could also mean mocking small trivial problems. Usually said when rich people realized they're having a conyo problem.

There, hope you like the trivia. Laughing
