I was hacked

I forgot to mention this a few weeks ago. One day I came on to log onto my account and was unable to. It said my password was incorrect. I then tried to use the "forgot my password" section, I put in my email which I know I always used. An error came up saying the email was wrong.

The person had hacked my account because the knew my password they then changed my email. I have a suspicion of who it was as only one other person knew my password Smile, after break ups CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD!

I wanna say thank you so much to Bondings for helping me out so quickly after making a post in the guest section about it. He was able to tell by certain activity. (Which browser I use mainly)

Thank you again Frihost

Good advise but actually it is a good idea to change your password periodically anyway. I always use numbers, punctuation and somewhere in the pass a Cap (if case sensitive). Don't use an actual word either or the same pass for all log-ins.
Anybody know what the most common password is? Don't laugh, it is "password".

I sometimes wonder whether "password" is so ridiculous that it turns out to be a good password as a consequence. That and 12345678.

Is there any any to trace the information of the person who hacked your account or do you suspect anyone who hacked it? I believe that Bondings has already IP banned the person.

The Only Secure Password Is the One You Can’t Remember. Funny, though: a password like this is that strong that even you can't logon anymore. May be a bit too secure to be useful.
Cold comfort: you are not alone. Evernote, Twitter, Hotmail, Sony, - they all have been victims of something like this.
Researchers who examined Hotmail passwords found that indeed 123456 is the most common password.

Hacked and change info coz of break up ? Wow this is something I have never thought. That's a pretty crazy thing. Well I guess you broke up with him or her. haha

Yes I understand it was all my bad. However, I just trusted she would not do that as we did not really finish on too bad of terms. Also did not think she was malicious like that.
