Randomness... seems to be full of relationship cries for advice? lol im useless
OK, After my drama filled few weeks with the opposite sex. I have decided to settle down and considering buying a dog. I always wanted a husky and I actually Love pit bulls, however, in my area you have to have a pit bull muzzled at all times. Which to me is not right. So I am deciding what to get and when... Keep you posted.

A few months ago I went on one date of an old friend of mine, we hung out a couple of times both decided it would not work and became really good friends instead.
We both have been through the same things and that is why we got along so well. We were both married young and that ended in adultery and we were the victims, so we have that in common. Also we both got suckered into a cult, I was not there as long as her myself however it is something we have in common. We left around the same time.
The other thing is we have known each other for about 5 years as well. So after the dates we decided to keep it friends. Which at first was great.
She knows I have a long distance gf and she seemed cool with it. We would hang out together with groups of people. She took me along to ikea for my first time ever haha. But now last weekend, she got emotional and told me she feels she is in Love with me, and her friends have confirmed this.
I have not known how to react, however I have slowed down communication and such. It just sucks to lose such a good friend. Any help?
So I have been seeing my girlfriend now for a few months. BARE IN MIND WE HAVE KNOWN EACHOTHER FOR TEN YEARS. She lives 2 hours away from where I currently live. She is nurse up there and I work IT at SGS Canada. My contract is coming up soon and there is some talk about renewing but not 100% yet.
Well she feels it has come to a point now where we need to see more of each other. She wants me to move up. She sends me possible job opportunities in her area in my field. I have applied to them, mainly because my contract is coming up haha.
I have lived in Peterborough now for 8 years, I am almost 27, is it time to pick up move and take a chance with this lady?
Is it strange that I actually want female friends who are just going to be friends???
Whenever I have issues with girls it be good to get a girls POV on it, my dude friends are useless. Their advice consists of "Lets get drunk" or "man just go off with another chick".... Guy advice is really useless.
So as you may have seen from my past blogs I got involved in a long distance relationship with a girl I had known since I was 16. She lived in Kingston Ontario which is about a two hour drive and we alternated weekends to visit each other. I actually liked getting away from Peterborough and having somewhere to go occasionally. However after about 3 months of dating now it has gotten to be a stressful time as we just seem to bicker and fight now over the stupidest things. We both agree it is probably due to the stress of a long distance thing and we always text each other and say how "next weekend" will be better. However usually a silly disagreement comes up and ruins the whole thing.
I like her very much and she has always liked me since we were in our teens. It is a shame it has gotten to this and I really sadly do not see it going on any longer. Very sad as I now wish we did not cross the friend line. Well the next few days will probably make or break us. Maybe it is just a rough patch? but it is a bit too early for one of those already.
