Can't Sleep

Ugh. It's 11:30pm and I have to be up at 6:00am at the latest if I want to internets, shower, eat And make a lunch... and do my hair Smile

Just so full of restless energy and my stomach has been bugging me most of the day. Feels like I ate something that may not agree with me but its been with me all day! I had it once before back in grade 9 or 10. I made it through the day and came home and tossed up my breakfast and whatever I ate for lunch. Eww.

Something random to include. The other night I believe this either happened or it was a dream. In either case, I sat up in bed and saw Mynx cued up near my feet and I leaned towards her and growled at her. I have no idea if I actually did this or dreamed it. I feel embarrassed regardless. It wouldn't be completely out there for me to do something like that while half asleep. I still remember sitting up at night thinking I was at work at the old apple call centre. I thought I was on the phone with a customer and I was literally talking. My eyes were open and I was staring at the wall and talking. Took about 30 seconds for me to snap out of it.

I think the night before I hallucinated. I opened my eyes and watched what I thought was a spider standing up on my moose pillow pet. I watched it for a few seconds before crushing it under the covers and flipping on the light. I had thought I'd actually find a spider corpse but there was nothing. This happens far too often in my opinion.

Random late night rant. Lets try this sleep thing again.

Not being able to sleep suuuuuuucckkksss.
I'm an hour ahead of you, but plan to stay up reading a bit longer (I'm in bed on my iPad now). Luckily I have nothing on my plate tomorrow morning, so I can sleep.

Realistic waking dreams are weird how they incorporate apparently real perceptions making them all the more real. I've had some similar-ish experiences, leaving me wondering what was dream versus actual experience. It's really hateful to dream about work, really realistic dreams, then wake up and go relive the experience Razz

Hope ya get to sleep soon.

I've got the same struggles with sleeping. Earlier on when I was Googling the subject found some nice poetry by Shakespeare that I thought was quite fitting:
Quote:
Weary with toil, I haste me to my bed
The dear repose for limbs with travel tired;
But then begins a journey in my head
To work my mind, when body’s work’s expir’d:
For then my thoughts—from far where I abide—
Intend a zealous pilgrimage to thee,
And keep my drooping eyelids open wide,
Looking on darkness which the blind do see:
Save that my soul’s imaginary sight
Presents thy shadow to my sightless view,
Which, like a jewel hung in ghastly night,
Makes black night beauteous and her old face new.
Lo! thus, by day my limbs, by night my mind,
For thee, and for myself no quiet find.

I hope you did manage to get some sleep L. I went through 4 consecutive nights all week having royal problem sleeping. Finally wore me down to exhaustion on Saturday night when I actually got 5 good hours of sleep.
Sucks when you can't sleep!

I've been just off since Friday evening. This has been a terrible week and I'm happy it's almost over. I was a puddle on the floor from 11pm until about 3am and I managed maybe 2 hours of fitful sleep. I wanted to fall asleep on the desk but somehow I was complimented on my efforts to manage the desk and image computer.

My friend's parents are back from their vacation so I'm going to see them either tomorrow night or Saturday afternoon. Tonight I'm just going to kick back and relax with Netflix (just signed up) and some tea. My stomach is still so upset, I'm not sure what to do to settle it Sad

How about taking some exercises?
It relaxes people's mind and exhaust people's body.
Taking a good bath after exercises helps to sleep well, too.

It's important to get rid of anything grabs your attentions when you want to sleep,
for example smart phones, iPads.

What kind of tea do you drink?
It's better to avoid food / drink contains caffeine (chocolate, coco, black tea, green tea).
If you want to drink some tea, I heard lavender tea is good for sleep.
