I just got an email from my ISP saying they're dropping their prices. My high speed DSL 15 package went from $45.99 to $32.99 a month. In addition my package is now called High Speed DSL 15 PRO! Sounds way more awesome now. My next bill or the one after that will drop quite a bit. I pay about $62 a month and part of that is because I need a dry loop becuse I don't have a home phone. That's about $7 a month but getting a home phone, even a basic one, would cost probably $15 a month. No thanks, I already have a cellphone.

I pay $17 for my broadband connection and download speed it only 7 Mbps. Also the package has 25 GB cap.

Mine is supposed to be 15 Mbps down and 1 Mbps up and I opted for the 300GB cap The only other cap option would have been unlimited and I'm not that crazy. There is another package just next to this that looks new. 15 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up for another $2 a month with a 300GB cap. Wouldn't be my thing as I barely upload anything beyond email attachments and photos.

Mine is supposed to be 8 Mbps but feels like 500kb. And it's VERY expensive. In US dollars, 98USD per month. Since there is no competition, the IP is able to get away with it.

Price drop would be unheard of here. Now price increase like I just got hit with two months ago, I would believe.
