Interesting Dreams...

Well, the first one involved the fact my parents computer crapped out on them in real life. In the dream I was trying to explain some possible options and going over a bit of the tech side and dumming it down so he could understand. I was using visuals to try and explain quad core and dual core processing and 4gb vs 6gb of memory. Then I noticed my dad's face going a bit red and his eyes watering up and I couldn't understand why he was getting so upset. I know he hates spending money on computers and he really doesn't think they're worth what you pay, but it didn't make sense for him to be emotional. It took me a while to realize that part of my vision to the left was blacked out but there was a gray hazy image there, an outline of my mom. I thought she was just part of the conversation but I was never really aware of her and I wouldn't normally talk to my dad about this, I'd talk to my mom. So my thoughts near the end before my dream changed were along the lines of "dad's upset because mom isn't here".

Then the dream shifted to some odd goings on at work where the university had a completely different layout and there was a lack of ceilings... and trees and grass could be seen as you walked along the halls. Anyways, as the dream transitioned into a work dream I was on the Help Desk and about 4 people dropped off their computers. I was working on one of them and was trying to email the woman about her computer but I ended up emailing another prof instead. I went to that prof's office and he mentioned the mistake email and then I just went to work showing him how to do this in Word. Then that go weird... skip over this bit...

Well, then I was off in the girl's bathroom and I was just by the door heading out when I overheard something about a missing person and I thought they thought it was me so I came out. Found out it was someone else and it wasn't the first person to go missing. I ended up pairing up with one of our student advisors and I followed him to where I thought we were going to get another PC but we ended up stopping by some student election where his girlfriend was. I wandered off at this point...

I ended up following some person who looked like they had some pea shaped piece of putty or something but he looked like he was playing with it and it was stretching to ridiculous lengths and doing weird stuff. Then I eventually found out that the putty was actually alive somehow... Well this guy ended up turning around and attacking me, as well as someone who had been following me. I was saved by another man with dark brown hair that was kind of... not wavy but it wasn't short but it didn't fall past his jawline. Anyways, he saved me and gave the putty to me and told me to hide somewhere. I ran off and the putty that is not putty but is actually alive, well it sensed my urgency and formed a sort of barrier that hid me from view and muffled all sound within.

I was hidden like this for some time while the man kept trying to seek out the men who were behind this attack. In the time period that putty had reproduced and grown so my barrier was quite large and I was hiding in what looked like a grove. When the man walked by, unaware of my presence, I pulled him inside. At this point it felt like the guy was insanely in love with me and missed me and I missed him. *whistles innocently* I'll I'm going to say is I had my moment of romance and it wasn't with my ex! *happy dance* Small victory for me!

Anyways, the romance was crashed by some other men out to attack me, one of them was the original owner of the putty that is not putty. he was dragging me off by my hair while two others rounded on my man!

Drama, action, fantasy, romance Razz So much happened and there are gaps because I can't understand what happened and I can't remember. Lets see if we can't bring that guy back into my dream Wink

Do you wake up exhausted after a dream like that? Amazing how you are able to recollect all of the details. I can remember I dreamed last night, but can't remember even a minor detail of it.

I'm only exhausted if something wakes me up in the middle of a dream because it feels like I'm being pulled up from the bottom of an ocean. If I wake up on my own from a dream I'm fine and I almost feel more rested because I know I had a dream and the dream makes me think I've been asleep longer.

Never thought about dreaming that way. But yes, I can see the point of thinking one has rested longer if one had had a dream. Maybe a sign of having slept deeply.

OK what did you fall asleep watching on the Telly this time? Certainly not Stargate for that dream. Rolling Eyes
I don't like to sleep because of the nightmares.

I love being asleep and I love being in that strange crossover world where I'm aware of my dreams.
Anything can happen, with all the emotions we expect in 'real' life, dreamworld is amazing, if not dark at times!

I really don't know what was going through my head before I fell asleep. I know I was thinking about that computer for my parents. The first part of the second dream would have been from work because a lot of people did drop off their computers. The rest is up in the air. My brain must have been feeling somewhat kind to me.
