My Dream Apartment?

So while napping at my friends house this afternoon I had a dream that seemed to incorporate the tiny apartment apartment I had seen as well as these pictures from the Ocean Blue Sand resort my 'adoptive' parents are going to in April. I say adopted because I did live with them and sometimes they feel like my other parents.

In my dream I went to see this apartment and I saw it in a state of renovation and the landlord was showing me what they were doing and what plans they had. It was very open concept from one end to the other, the only thing that seemed to have a door was the bathroom. This place seemed to stretch out and it was pretty wide... not like a house but more than a town house. Then the dream fast forwarded to when I was moving in and the place looked AMAZING!

There were nice hardwood floors and a living room/sitting room at the front then a dinning area. All the wood furniture and closet/storage doors were a dark wood. The kitchen looked amazing with granite counter tops and the appliances were so beautiful and new. The bedroom for some reason had no door, just a big archway from the kitchen... very random. But seeing as it was just for me I didn't care, I'd just make sure I had some good curtains on the windows everywhere!

When I woke up this certainly didn't make that much sense. I mean, the place I had seen in the ad in really life was small. I'd actually seen this kind of place before almost a year ago when I was first apartment hunting with my ex. It wasn't a terrible space... but there was a door in the bedroom to the outside. They renovated the place to move the door to a narrow hallway beside the bedroom. They shuffled the kitchen into the nook under the stairs going to the upper unit. It didn't look great and it almost seemed smaller...

At any rate, I wish that place existed for $750 a month plus heat and hydro.... or was it inclusive? But dreams... they happen.... I'm glad it was an awesome one! Make me think of what I could do with my future abode Very Happy

What did Mynx think of the apartment? You mean the apartment had a bedroom not a 'hide-a-bed'. Not too tiny then.
Your dream are getting better - moving forward!

Oh no! I knew I forgot something when I moved into that apartment! How could I forget my precious kitty?? She loves me and needs to sleep awkwardly on my legs at night! If I'm not there what will she do!?!?!

It's a sweet dream.
Congrats.

The most interesting part of the dream is there were no doors except the bathroom.
I'm not a psychologist, but I guess there are some hints in this dream.
If I'm incorrect, please ignore these.

1. move to a nice department : your situation is getting better and better.
2. only door frames but no doors : you desire a effective communication without obstacles (hidings or secrets) in the next relationship. You want to be realized by him and realize him. So there were no doors in the new department.

Let's get back to the reality.
If I were you, I will not use wood floors.
They make the room looks warm and elegant,
but it's very easy to scratch them.
Especially there is a kitty in the house.

That sounds like a fantastic place to rent. Perhaps there is psychology that can be gleaned from it, but that is not for me. I For a dream, it was a nice one. Poor kitty though, I wonder where she was? Sounds like your moving up though. Smile god luck finding an apartment that nice in real life, though. I wish you the best on your home hunting.

I like this dream. Almost like visualizing a new place for yourself subconsciously. Looks as though this apartment is out there just waiting for you to get to it. Very Happy

Here is a 'tiny' apartment for you, L and Mynx too!

325 square feet and note the bedroom does not have a door or walls for that matter!

Oh wow that's impressive! I feel a little claustrophobic looking at it but it kind of gives me ideas oh how I can deal with possible space restrictions. I looked at the others and they've done some pretty impressive things with small spaces.
