So I'm looking into making a slideshow for the Amicis FC website I'm making up. I have a section for a photo gallery and I really like the idea of a slideshow, one that can play on its own, or if the users wants to go through it manually they can.
I found this guide for a fairly simple looking one that basically does what I want:
I downloaded the zip file and I have to say I'm scared out of my mind! So many files! Sometimes I'm okay with example code and I can manipulate it, but this is insane. I'm not sure how I can manipulate this. I'm guess I just need to sit down with it and go through the code line by line and actually put it in a test environment and tweak sections of it to see what the results are. I'm sure I'll figure it out... but if there's a simpler way of going about it I would love to hear it. Not to mention I'll have to deal with standard portrait and landscape oriented pictures... Actually most should be landscape...

Good luck with the slideshow. That jQuery plugin looks nice. Hope everything goes well for you and the team.
