Just a quick thing; My little brother has a drum machine, you press buttons on it and it plays digital-sounding, repetitive music.
He had it set up in the living room and was dancing. Watching him, I came to a frightening conclusion...
Without any outside influence, he has independently invented the dance style popular in the mid-seventies, known as disco.
