The Scottish Wildcat

Macavity by Sweetmart, in Flickr

The Scottish Wildcat is an endangered species, only less than 100 animals are thought to be alive in the wild. The main threat is hybridization with common cats, which makes so difficult to keep a pure line for future generations.
This year the local government and NGOs committed to save this species are joining forces, resources, and manpower to provide a solution for the wildcat.
This is a great animal, and even if I live in another country, I love felines, and I think this could be a good cause anyone can join, though the different NGOs, "adopting" a wildcat, or helping in your own way.
